The virus spreads through close contact with an infected person and the symptoms range from mild to severe, including cough, runny nose, fever and wheezing. RSV is a significant cause of respiratory illness worldwide, leading to hospitalizations and even deaths in severe cases. Understanding the transmission, risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of RSV is crucial for preventing and managing the spread of this infection.
