These conditions can have a significant impact on individuals and their families, as well as on society as a whole. In this article, we will explore the epidemiology and burden of neurological disease. Neurological diseases are a major public health issue worldwide. According to the World Health Organization neurological disorders affect up to one billion people globally and the global burden of disease. The prevalence of neurological diseases varies by region and by age, with some conditions being more common in certain populations.
